The Industry’s Dirty Secret

It’s not about better cutting.

Great shears aren’t complicated. There are only a few things that go into a good pair.

Steel.
Edge geometry.
Ergonomics.

That’s it.

So when prices swing from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand, the question isn’t what changed. It’s what didn’t.

The steel didn’t suddenly become rare, and the physics didn’t change.

The company selling it did.

What Actually Matters

If you’re behind the chair all day, you already know this.

A good shear isn’t about how it looks. It’s about how it feels after your fifth client.

And that feeling comes down to a few things…

How sharp it is.
And how long it stays sharp. Not how it feels right out of the box.

How the cut feels.
Smooth. Quiet. Controlled. No snagging, and no resistance.

How your hand and wrist feels.
At the end of the day. And years from now.

How consistent it is.
The same cut, client after client.

These are the things stylists feel every day... whether the brand name is on the blade or not.

That’s performance. Everything else is presentation.

So We Designed For Exactly That.
PERFORMANCE.

When performance is the priority, the design process changes.

Not louder branding.
Not heavier packaging.
Not inflated pricing to support a sales network.

Just a shear designed around performance, and nothing else.

That’s the philosophy behind Satori.
