What steel are they, and will they hold an edge?
Hitachi ATS-314 cobalt steel, hardened to 61 to 62 HRC and finished with a hand-honed convex edge. That holds a clean, sharp edge far longer than the 440C steel found in many overpriced shears. The convex edge is slide-cut and dry-cut ready.
Will they help with hand and wrist fatigue?
The offset crane handle, our ZeroStrain geometry, keeps your thumb lower and your wrist more neutral than a classic straight handle. Paired with smooth internal ball-bearing tension, every cut takes less force, which adds up over a full day in the chair.
